Key Concepts

There are three key concepts that my group has chosen to focus on for the Exhibition. The key concepts are:
- Perspective
- Causation
- Connection
The reason why we chose those three concepts are because we think those three concepts will help us know more about our topic, Carbon Dioxide. My group decided to focus most on perspective because we want to know about people’s opinion of Carbon Dioxide. We chose causation as our second key concept because we want to know how can there be too much CO2. The last key concept, connection, was chosen because we want to know how a lot of things can connect with CO2.

First eLearning Homework

My first inquiry is: How CO2 affects where we live. CO2 affects us really much. Not only in big things such as Global Warming, but also in small things such as affecting where we livee. CO2 can affect the people who live around us that grow crops. CO2 affects crops growth by slowing the crops growth. If the crops growths are slowing down, it will take longer time to harvest it. People who depend on their crops will have a lot of problem. Plants actually use CO2 for their photosynthesis. They use it as a nutrient. But only trees with chlorophyll can do that and that’s the problem because not all crops have chlorophyll. So that is why CO2 is bad for crops.

CO2 is not always bad for us. Sometimes, it can be useful for us. It is used in soda drinksks – which many people drink. It makes soda drinks fizzy. CO2 is also used in yeast and baking powder. CO2 is the one that causes the rising of the bread dough. CO2 can be used to soften water. In some fire extinguishers, CO2 is used to smother fire. The solid form of CO2, dry ice, is used as a refrigerating agent.
